मा नो हेतिर्विवस्वत आदित्याः कृत्रिमा शरुः । पुरा नु जरसो वधीत् ॥
Transliteration
mā́ no hetír vivásvata ādityāḥ kṛ́trimā śár uḥ | purā́ nu járaso vadhīt ||
Translation
ಹೇ ಆದಿತ್ಯರೇ, ವಿವಸ್ವತ್ನ ಆಯುಧವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳದಿರಲಿ; ಕೃತಕವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಶತ್ರುಬಾಣವೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಜರೆಯ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಪಕ್ವರಾಗುವ ಮುನ್ನ, ಕಾಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯದಿರಲಿ.
