तद्वो गाय सुते सचा पुरुहूताय सत्वने । शं यद्गवे न शाकिने ॥
Transliteration
tád vo gāya suté sacā puruhūtā́ya sátvane | śáṃ yád gáve ná śākíne ||
Translation
ಸುತ ಸೋಮದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಚಾ—ನಿಕಟ ಸಂಗಡಿಗತನದಲ್ಲಿ—ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ: ಪುರುಹೂತ (ಬಹು-ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತ) ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ವನ (ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿ) ಯಿಗೆ; ಅದು ಗವೇ (ಗೋವು/ಪ್ರಕಾಶ) ಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ತರುವದು, ಅಶಾಕಿನ (ಅಶಕ್ತ) ಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ.
