Sukta 10.180
मृगो न भीमः कुचरो गिरिष्ठाः परावत आ जगन्था परस्याः । सृकं संशाय पविमिन्द्र तिग्मं वि शत्रून्ताळ्हि वि मृधो नुदस्व ॥
mṛgó ná bhīmáḥ kucaráḥ giriṣṭhā́ḥ parāváta ā́ jaganthā́ párasyāḥ | sṛkáṃ saṃśā́ya pavím indra tigmáṃ ví śátrūn tāḷhi ví mṛ́dho nudasva ||
ಭೀಕರ ಮೃಗದಂತೆ, ಪರ್ವತಶಿಖರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವನೆ, ನೀನು ಪರಾವತ್—ಅತಿದೂರದ ದೇಶದಿಂದ—ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದೆ. ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ದವಡೆಯನ್ನು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸು, ಪವಿಯನ್ನು (ವಜ್ರದ ಧಾರೆ) ಉಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸು; ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು, ಮೃಧಗಳನ್ನು (ಆಕ್ರಮಣಗಳನ್ನು) ದೂರ ತಳ್ಳು.
