प्र वो ग्रावाणः सविता देवः सुवतु धर्मणा । धूर्षु युज्यध्वं सुनुत ॥
ಹೇ ಗ್ರಾವಾಣಃ (ಸೋಮವನ್ನು ಪಿಸೆಯುವ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳೇ), ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗಿರಿ. ದೇವ ಸವಿತೃ—ದಿವ್ಯ ಪ್ರೇರಕ—ಧರ್ಮದ ನಿಯಮದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ಧೂರ್ಷು (ಪಿಸಣ-ಆಸನಗಳು) ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಸೋಮವನ್ನು ಪಿಸೆಯಿರಿ—ಆನಂದರಸವನ್ನು ನಿಸ್ಸ್ರವಿಸಿರಿ.

ग्रावाणो अप दुच्छुनामप सेधत दुर्मतिम् । उस्राः कर्तन भेषजम् ॥
ಹೇ ಗ್ರಾವಾಣಃ, ದುಚ್ಚುನಾ (ಅಶುಭ) ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರ ಓಡಿಸಿರಿ; ದುರ್ಮತಿ (ವಕ್ರ ಬುದ್ಧಿ)ಯನ್ನೂ ದೂರ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಹೇ ಉಸ್ರಾಃ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನರೇ), ಭೇಷಜ (ಔಷಧ/ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ)ವನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆದು—ಪಿಸೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರಸದಿಂದ ಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ.

ग्रावाण उपरेष्वा महीयन्ते सजोषसः । वृष्णे दधतो वृष्ण्यम् ॥
ಮೇಲಿನ ಫಲಕಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಗ್ರಾವಾಣಃ ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಏರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ವೃಷ್ಣ (ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ)ನಲ್ಲಿ ವೃಷ್ಣ್ಯ (ವೀರ್ಯ-ಬಲ)ವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಬಲದೊಳಗೆ ಬಲವನ್ನು ದೃಢಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ.
