Sukta 10.147
त्वं शर्धाय महिना गृणान उरु कृधि मघवञ्छग्धि रायः । त्वं नो मित्रो वरुणो न मायी पित्वो न दस्म दयसे विभक्ता ॥
tváṃ śárdhāya mahinā́ gṛṇānó urú kṛdhi maghavan chagdhí rāyáḥ | tváṃ no mitró váruṇo ná māyī́ pitvó ná dasma dayase vi-bhaktā́ ||
ಓ ಮಘವನ್ (ಇಂದ್ರ), ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶಾಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡು; ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು. ನೀನು ನಮಗೆ ಮಿತ್ರ-ವರುಣರಂತೆ—ಕ್ರಮವಿಧಾನದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಮಾಯಾವಿ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಓ ಅದ್ಭುತನೇ, ಉದಾರ ತಂದೆಯಂತೆ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚುವವನು ನೀನೇ.
