शकेम त्वा समिधं साधया धियस्त्वे देवा हविरदन्त्याहुतम् । त्वमादित्याँ आ वह तान्ह्युश्मस्यग्ने सख्ये मा रिषामा वयं तव ॥
śakéma tvā samídhaṃ sādháyā dhíyas tve devā́ havír adanty ā́hutam | tvám ādityā́m̐ ā́ vaha tā́n hí uśmásy ágne sakhyé mā́ riṣāmā vayáṃ táva ||
ನಾವು ಸಮಿಧೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಶಕ್ತರಾಗಿರೋಣ; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಆಹುತಿಯಾದ ಹವಿಸನ್ನು ಭುಂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀನು ಆದಿತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆತರು—ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗದಿರಲಿ—ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿರಲಿ.
