रामस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा सुग्रीव स्सहलक्ष्मणः ।सेनां निवेशयततीरे सागरस्य द्रुमायुते ।।।।

Transliteration

rāmasya vacanaṁ śrutvā sugrīvaḥ saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ |

senāṁ niveśayat tīre sāgarasya drumāyute |

Translation

ರಾಮನ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನೊಡನೆ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಸಾಗರತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ—ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ—ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶಿಬಿರಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
