Hanuman Sent Ahead to Ayodhya

उपयानंसमुद्रस्यसागरस्य च दर्शनम् ।यथा च कारितस्सेतूरावणश्चयथाहतः ।।।।

Transliteration

upayānaṃ samudrasya sāgarasya ca darśanam | yathā ca kāritas setur rāvaṇaś ca yathā hataḥ ||

Translation

“ನನ್ನ ಸಮುದ್ರ—ಸಾಗರ—ದತ್ತಗಿನ ಉಪಾಯನ (ಸಮೀಪಗಮನ) ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಗರನು ತಾನೇ ದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು; ಹೇಗೆ ಸೇತು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು, ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಗೆ ರಾವಣನು ಹತನಾದನು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ.”
