Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
पतिता सागरे चाहं तिमिनक्रझषाकुले।भवेयमाशु विवशा यादसामन्नमुत्तमम्।।5.37.45।।
patitā sāgare cāhaṃ timi-nakra-jhaṣākule | bhaveyam āśu vivaśā yādasām annam uttamam ||
ತಿಮಿ, ಮಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಮೀನುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲುಷಿತವಾದ ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಬಿದ್ದರೆ, ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅಸಹಾಯಳಾಗಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನು—ಜಲಚರರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವೆನು.
