ahiṃsāratir akṣudro ghṛṇī satyaparākramaḥ | mukhyaś cīkṣvākuvaṃśasya lakṣmīvān lakṣmivardhanaḥ ||

ಅಹಿಂಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವನು, ಅಕ್ಷುದ್ರನೂ ಕರುಣಾಮಯನೂ, ಸತ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯೂ; ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು ವಂಶದ ಮುಖ್ಯನು, ಶ್ರೀಮಂತನೂ ಶ್ರೀವರ್ಧಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು.
