हनुमता सीतासंवादोपायचिन्ता
Hanuman’s Deliberation on How to Address Sita
अन्तरं त्वहमासाद्य राक्षसीनामिह स्थितः।शनैराश्वासयिष्यामि सन्तापबहुळामिमाम्।।।।
antaraṃ tv aham āsādya rākṣasīnām iha sthitaḥ | śanair āśvāsayiṣyāmi santāpabahalām imām ||
ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಂತು, ಈ ರಾಕ್ಷಸಿಯರ ನಡುವೆ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದು, ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತಪ್ತಳಾದ ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
"I am indeed of small size and that too a monkey. Nevertheless I shall speak in Sanskrit, a language of the common people. (as the she-demons cannot understand that language).
