समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
लघुत्वेनोपपन्नं तद्विचित्रं सागरेऽपतत्।द्रुमाणां विविधं पुष्पं कपिवायुसमीरितम्।।।।ताराचितमिवाकाशं प्रबभौ स महार्णवः।
laghutvenopapannaṃ tad vicitraṃ sāgare 'patat |
drumāṇāṃ vividhaṃ puṣpaṃ kapivāyusamīritam ||
tārācitam ivākāśaṃ prababhau sa mahārṇavaḥ ||
ಲಘುವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾನಾರಂಗಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳು—ಕಪಿಯ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು—ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರವು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಆಕಾಶದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು.
