"Most brilliant Rama! therefore enter the hermitage of the pious (Gautama) and liberate this fortunate Ahalya of divine appearance (from the curse)."
Dharma includes compassionate restoration: when the time is ripe, righteousness acts to release beings from suffering and reinstate moral order.
Viśvāmitra directs Rāma to enter Gautama’s hermitage and liberate Ahalyā, whose condition persists under a curse until Rāma’s arrival.
Rāma’s role as redeemer-protector—his presence restores dharmic balance through grace and rightful intervention.
