और्ध्वदैहिकक्रिया-शोकविलापः
Obsequies for Daśaratha and the Brothers’ Lament
तात यस्मिन्निसृष्टोऽहं त्वया भ्रातरि राघवे।।।।तस्मिन्वनं प्रव्रजिते शून्ये त्यक्तोऽस्म्यहं त्वया।
tāta yasmin nisṛṣṭo ’haṃ tvayā bhrātari rāghave | tasmin vanaṃ pravrajite śūnye tyakto ’smy ahaṃ tvayā ||
ತಾತಾ! ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಣ್ಣ ರಾಘವನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆ; ಈಗ ಅವನು ವನವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟಿರುವಾಗ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೂನ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
O dear father, my brother Rama to whom you have entrusted me has been sent tothe forest now and I am left in a vacuum.
