लक्ष्मणस्य वनानुगमन-प्रतिज्ञा तथा आयुध-संग्रहः
Lakshmana’s Vow to Follow Rama and the Retrieval of Divine Weapons
एवं ब्रुवाणस्सौमित्रिर्वनवासाय निश्चितः।रामेण बहुभिस्सान्त्वैर्निषिध्दः पुनरब्रवीत्।।।।
evaṃ bruvāṇaḥ saumitrir vanavāsāya niścitaḥ | rāmeṇa bahubhiḥ sāntvair niṣiddhaḥ punar abravīt ||
ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೌಮಿತ್ರಿ ವನವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ದೃಢನಿಶ್ಚಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ರಾಮನು ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ವಚನಗಳಿಂದ ತಡೆದರೂ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
