भरतस्य प्रार्थना—रामस्य धर्मोपदेशः

Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Dharma-Reasoning

वयमस्य यथा लोके सङ्ख्याता: सौम्य साधुभिः।भार्याः पुत्राश्च शिष्याश्च त्वमनुज्ञातुमर्हसि।।।।

vayam asya yathā loke saṅkhyātāḥ saumya sādhubhiḥ | bhāryāḥ putrāś ca śiṣyāś ca tvam anujñātum arhasi ||

ಹೇ ಸೌಮ್ಯ, ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಜ್ಜನರು ಪತ್ನಿ, ಪುತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದ ಅಧೀನವೆಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಗಣಿಸಲು ನೀನು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡು.
