पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च

Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī

ततो मन्दाकिनीतीरात्प्रत्युत्तीर्य स राघवः।पितुश्चकार तेजस्वी निर्वापं भ्रातृभि सह।।।।

tato mandākinītīrāt pratyuttīrya sa rāghavaḥ | pituś cakāra tejasvī nirvāpaṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha ||

ನಂತರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ರಾಘವನು ಮಂದಾಕಿನೀ ತೀರದಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ, ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ತಂದೆಗೆ ನಿರ್ವಾಪ (ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧಾರ್ಪಣ)ವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದನು.
