FAQs

Dharma is tied to Satya: Rama fears that if Sita is lost, his exile—undertaken to uphold truth and a pledge—will feel emptied of meaning, highlighting the moral weight of vows and consequences.

Immediately after Sita’s abduction, Rama anxiously asks about her survival and reflects on the purpose and cost of his exile.

Deep love joined with moral seriousness—Rama’s commitment to truth is so strong that he measures his suffering against the integrity of his life’s vow.
