The Slaying (Burial) of Viradha
स विद्धो बहुभिर्बाणैः खङ्गाभ्यां च परिक्षतः।निष्पिष्टो बहुधा भूमौ न ममार स राक्षसः।।।।
sa viddho bahubhir bāṇaiḥ khaṅgābhyāṃ ca parikṣataḥ | niṣpiṣṭo bahudhā bhūmau na mamāra sa rākṣasaḥ ||
ಅನೇಕ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಚುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಎರಡು ಖಡ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ನುಚ್ಚುನೂರಾದರೂ ಆ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನು ಸಾಯಲಿಲ್ಲ।
