Akampana Reports Janasthana; Ravana Plans Sita’s Abduction
सतारग्रहनक्षत्रं नभश्चाप्यवसादयेत्।असौ रामस्तु सीदन्तीं श्रीमानभ्युद्धरेन्महीम्।।3.31.24।।
satāragrahanakṣatraṃ nabhaś cāpy avasādayet |
asau rāmas tu sīdantīṃ śrīmān abhyuddharen mahīm ||3.31.24||
ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ-ಗ್ರಹ-ತಾರಾಗಣಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲನು; ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಶ್ರೀಮಾನ್ ರಾಮನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬಲ್ಲನು.
Rama is of great fame. When outraged, he is irrepressible. He can arrest with his arrows even the speed of a river (in spate).
Dharma is framed as world-supporting power: the righteous hero is imagined as capable of upholding cosmic order and rescuing what is imperiled.
Akampana continues describing Rāma’s near-cosmic capability to caution Rāvaṇa against escalating conflict.
Rāma’s protector-role: strength used to uphold and rescue, not merely to destroy.
