Omens before Khara’s Assault
श्यामं रुधिरपर्यन्तं बभूव परिवेषणम्।अलातचक्रप्रतिमं परिगृह्य दिवाकरम्।।।।
śyāmaṃ rudhira-paryantaṃ babhūva pariveṣaṇam |
alāta-cakra-pratimaṃ parigṛhya divākaram ||
ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು ರಕ್ತವರ್ಣದ ಅಂಚುಗಳಿರುವ ಕಪ್ಪು ವಲಯವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು; ಅದು ತಿರುಗುವ ಅಗ್ನಿದಂಡದಿಂದ ಮೂಡುವ ವಲಯದಂತೆ, ಸೂರ್ಯಮಂಡಲವನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿದಂತಿತ್ತು.
