महोत्पात-लक्षणानि
Omens before Khara’s Assault
उद्धूतश्च विना वातं रेणुर्जलधरारुणः।।।।वीचीकूचीति वाश्यन्त्यो बभूवुस्तत्र शारिकाः।
uddhūtaś ca vinā vātaṃ reṇur jaladharāruṇaḥ |
vīcīkūcīti vāśyantyo babhūvus tatra śārikāḥ || 3.23.14 ||
ಗಾಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಧೂಳು ಎದ್ದಿತು, ಮಳೆಮೋಡದಂತೆ ಕೆಂಪು-ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣದಲ್ಲಿ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾರಿಕಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಅಚಾತುರ್ಯದಿಂದ “ವೀಚೀಕೂಚೀ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿದವು.
