Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati

ततः स्थलमुपारुह्य पर्वतस्याविदूरतः।ख्यातः पञ्चवटीत्येव नित्यपुष्पितकाननः।।।।

Transliteration

tataḥ sthalam upāruhya parvatasyāvidūrataḥ | khyātaḥ pañcavaṭīty eva nityapuṣpitakānanaḥ ||

Translation

ನಂತರ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದ ದೂರವಲ್ಲದ ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ, ಸದಾ ಪುಷ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಕಾನನಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ‘ಪಂಚವಟಿ’ ಎಂದು ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವಿರಿ.
