वसन्तो धर्मनिरता वने मूलफलाशनाः।न लभन्ते सुखं भीता राक्षसैः क्रूरकर्मभिः।।।।

Transliteration

vasanto dharmaniratā vane mūlaphalāśanāḥ |

na labhante sukhaṃ bhītā rākṣasaiḥ krūrakarmabhiḥ ||

ವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿ ಧರ್ಮನಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿರುವ, ಮೂಲಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡ ಮುನಿಗಳು, ಕ್ರೂರಕರ್ಮಿಗಳಾದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
