करतोयां समासाद्य त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नरः । अश्वमेधमवाप्नोति शक्रलोकं च गच्छति

ಕರತೋಯಾ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ಮೂರು ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ನರನು ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧ ಯಜ್ಞಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಶಕ್ರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
