प्रभग्ने ते गदे खस्थौ खड्गचर्मधरावुभौ । तदा पदातिनोर्युद्धमद्भुतं लोमहर्षणं

ಅವರ ಗದೆಗಳು ಮುರಿದಾಗ, ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಖಡ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಾಣಿ ಧರಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪದಾತಿಗಳ ದ್ವಂದ್ವಯುದ್ಧವು ಅದ್ಭುತವೂ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕರವೂ ಆಯಿತು।
