The Five Great Sacrifices: Supremacy of Honoring Parents, Pativrata Dharma, Truthfulness, and Śrāddha

पित्रोराज्ञा च देवस्य गुरोराज्ञा समं फलं । आराधनाद्दिवो राज्यं बाधया रौरवं व्रजेत्

pitrorājñā ca devasya gurorājñā samaṃ phalaṃ | ārādhanāddivo rājyaṃ bādhayā rauravaṃ vrajet

ಪಿತೃಮಾತೃಗಳ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ಸಮಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಗುರುವಿನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಫಲವೂ ಅದೇ. ಅವರ ಆರಾಧನೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವರ್ಗರಾಜ್ಯ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಾಧೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ರೌರವ ನರಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
