तस्मै भगवते नत्वा वेदव्यासाय वेधसे । पुरुषाय पुराणाय भृगुवाक्यानुवर्तिने

ಆ ಭಗವಂತನಿಗೆ, ವೇಧಸ್-ಸ್ವರೂಪ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರಿಗೆ, ಆದಿಪುರುಷನಾದ ಪುರಾತನನಿಗೆ, ಭೃಗು ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ।
