FAQs

It recommends vastra-dāna—donating clothing—performed during Kārttika, specifically described as being given from one’s home.

The verse states that the woman attains prolonged residence with Rādhā and Dāmodara in Śrī Hari’s blessed realm—i.e., a Vaishnava form of heavenly/otherworldly reward rooted in bhakti.

Their pairing frames the fruit of the charity in explicitly Vaishnava devotional terms: the highest reward is closeness to the divine couple (Rādhā) and Kṛṣṇa as Dāmodara, rather than merely worldly merit.
