ಕಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಿನ್ನ ಆದೇಶದಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ಬಂದೆನು; ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಸುಹೃದ್ಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷಾರ್ಥವನ್ನೇ ಹೊತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಿಹೀನ, ಅನೇಕ ಭಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನೆಂದು ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೆ.
