मातरं मे महाभागे श्रूयतां वचनं मम । महामोहेनमुग्धोऽस्मि सुताया वरवर्णिनि

ಹೇ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ್ಯವತೀ ತಾಯೇ, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ಹೇ ಸುಂದರವರ್ಣಿನೀ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮಹಾಮೋಹದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮರುಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
