Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahātmyas)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It declares that a single sacred bath at the described tīrtha grants akṣaya (inexhaustible) puṇya, equating its fruit to the renowned merit of bathing at Prayāga.
By highlighting tīrtha-snānā as a sanctifying act that yields lasting merit, it supports bhakti-oriented living where external acts (like bathing at holy places) are performed as offerings that purify and turn the mind toward the Divine.
Ritual practice (kalpa-oriented conduct) is implied: tīrtha-snānā is presented as a concrete dhārmic act with a defined result (puṇya), guiding how and why sacred bathing is undertaken.
