Narada (narrating a Tirtha-Mahatmya section in Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It states the tīrtha-phala (result of a sacred bath): bathing at Jahnu-hrada grants great merit, expressed as gaining honored access to Vāsava (Indra), i.e., elevated heavenly hospitality/status.
Though framed as a tīrtha-mahātmya, it supports bhakti indirectly by prescribing faith-filled pilgrimage and ritual purity as supportive acts (aṅga) that prepare the mind for devotion and dharma.
Kalpa-oriented ritual practice is implied: tīrtha-snāna (holy bathing) as a regulated rite with a stated phala (result), typical of dharma-śāstra and purāṇic ritual instruction.
