स्वर्णदीसेवनं युक्तमथवा हरिपूजनम् । न कृतं यन्मया बाल्ये यौवने न कृतं च यत् ॥ ६१ ॥
svarṇadīsevanaṃ yuktamathavā haripūjanam | na kṛtaṃ yanmayā bālye yauvane na kṛtaṃ ca yat || 61 ||
ಸ್ವರ್ಣದೀ ನದಿಯ ಸೇವೆ ಅಥವಾ ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆದರೆ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾಡದದ್ದೂ, ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡದದ್ದೂ—ಆ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿತ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳು ಇಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ.
