बुधाय जातरूपं तु गुरवे पीतवाससी श्वेताश्वं दैत्यगुरवे कृष्णां गामर्कसूनवे //

Transliteration

budhāya jātarūpaṃ tu gurave pītavāsasī śvetāśvaṃ daityagurave kṛṣṇāṃ gāmarkasūnave //

Translation

ಬುಧನಿಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಗುರುವಿಗೆ (ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿಗೆ) ಹಳದಿ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ದೈತ್ಯಗುರು (ಶುಕ್ರ)ಗೆ ಶ್ವೇತ ಅಶ್ವವನ್ನು, ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಕಸೂನು (ಶನಿ)ಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪು ಹಸುವನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು।
