*शर्मिष्ठोवाच आसीनं च शयानं च पिता ते पितरं मम स्तौति पृच्छति चाभीक्ष्णं नीचस्थः सुविनीतवत् //

Transliteration

*śarmiṣṭhovāca āsīnaṃ ca śayānaṃ ca pitā te pitaraṃ mama stauti pṛcchati cābhīkṣṇaṃ nīcasthaḥ suvinītavat //

Translation

ಶರ್ಮಿಷ್ಠೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮರುಮರು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಅವನು ಕುಳಿತಿರಲಿ ಮಲಗಿರಲಿ—ಕೆಳಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಬಹು ವಿನೀತನಂತೆ।”
