ऋषिरुवाच तथेत्युक्त्वा भगवता शङ्ख-चक्र-गदाभृता ।

कृत्वा चक्रेण वै छिन्नॆ जघने शिरसी तयोः ॥

Transliteration

ṛṣir uvāca tathety uktvā bhagavatā śaṅkha-cakra-gadābhṛtā | kṛtvā cakreṇa vai chinne jaghane śirasī tayoḥ ||

Translation

ಋಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು: 'ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ' ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಶಂಖ, ಚಕ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಗದೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ ಭಗವಂತನು, ಅವರ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತೊಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಚಕ್ರದಿಂದ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು.
