Adhyaya 64 — Kalavati (Vibhavari) Offers Herself and the Padmini Vidya to Svarocisha
yasyā vatse prabhāveṇa vidyāyās tāṃ gṛhāṇa me / padminī nāma vidyeyaṃ mahāpadmābhipūjitā
Power is framed as transmissible through grace and right relationship (guru/daivī-bestowal). The ‘accept’ (gṛhāṇa) emphasizes receptivity, responsibility, and worthy use of bestowed capacities.
Manvantara (and indirectly Vaṃśānucarita-style episode): it situates a specific empowerment tradition within a time-cycle, showing how beings in that manvantara gain boons and capacities.
Padminī (‘lotus’) indicates unfolding purity and sovereignty amid the world; Mahāpadmā’s veneration suggests the vidyā is anchored in an archetype of abundance that remains unstained (like a lotus).
