Adhyaya 64 — Kalavati (Vibhavari) Offers Herself and the Padmini Vidya to Svarocisha
इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे स्वारोचिषे मन्वन्तरे त्रिषष्टितमोऽध्यायः । चतुःषष्टितमोऽध्यायः- ६४ ।
मार्कण्डेय उवाच एवं विमुक्तरोगा तु कन्यका तं मुदान्विता ।
स्वरोचिषमुवाचेदं शृणुष्व वचनं प्रभो ॥
iti śrīmārkaṇḍeyapurāṇe svārociṣe manvantare triṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ / catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ 64 / mārkaṇḍeya uvāca evaṃ vimuktarogā tu kanyakā taṃ mudānvitā / svarociṣam uvāca idaṃ śṛṇuṣva vacanaṃ prabho
ಇಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀಮಾರ್ಕಂಡೇಯಪುರಾಣದ ಸ್ವಾರೋಚಿಷ ಮನ್ವಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರವತ್ತಮೂರನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಸಮಾಪ್ತವಾಯಿತು. ಈಗ ಅರವತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಾರ್ಕಂಡೇಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಕನ್ಯೆ ರೋಗಮುಕ್ತಳಾಗಿ ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಸ್ವಾರೋಚಿಷನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಳು—ಓ ಭಗವನ್, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.
