का त्वं कमलगर्भाभे कस्य किं वानुतिष्ठसि । ब्राह्मणोऽहमिहायातो नगरादरुणास्पदात् ॥
kā tvaṃ kamalagarbhābhe kasya kiṃ vānutiṣṭhasi / brāhmaṇo 'ham ihāyāto nagarād aruṇāspadāt
ಹೇ ಪದ್ಮೋದರಿ (ಕಮಲಸ್ತನೀ) ಶುಭೆ! ನೀ ಯಾರು? ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವಳು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀಯ? ನಾನು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನು; ಅರುಣಾಸ್ಪದ ಎಂಬ ನಗರದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ।
