Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat
Sanskrit
तं ददर्श भ्रमन्तञ्च मुनिश्रेष्ठं वरूथिनी ।
वराप्सरा महाभागा मौलेया रूपशालिनी ॥
Transliteration
taṃ dadarśa bhramantañ ca muniśreṣṭhaṃ varūthinī | varāpsarā mahābhāgā mauleyā rūpaśālinī ||
Translation
ವರೂಥಿನೀ ಆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಮುನಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡಳು. ಅವಳು ಪುಣ್ಯವಂತಿ ಅಪ್ಸರೆ, ಪರಮ ಭಾಗ್ಯವತಿ, ಮೌಲೇಯ ವಂಶಜ, ರೂಪಸಂಪನ್ನಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
