अनेकदेशदर्शित्वेनातिश्रमसमान्वितः ।
त्वं नातिवृद्धो वयसा नातिवृत्तश्च यौवनात् ।
कथम् अल्पेन कालेन पृथिवीमटसि द्विज ॥
aneka-deśa-darśitvenātiśrama-samānvitaḥ |
tvaṁ nāti-vṛddho vayasā nāti-vṛttaś ca yauvanāt |
katham alpena kālena pṛthivīm aṭasi dvija ||
ಅನೇಕ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ನೀವು ಮಹಾ ಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ದಣಿದವರಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತೀರಿ; ಆದರೂ ನೀವು ಅತಿವೃದ್ಧನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಯೌವನಾತೀತನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಹೇ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
