दुग्धेयं गौस्तदा तेन शस्यानि पृथिवीतले ।
जज्ञिरे तानि बीजानि ग्राम्यारण्यास्तु ताः पुनः ॥
dugdheyam gauḥ tadā tena śasyāni pṛthivī-tale /
jajñire tāni bījāni grāmyāraṇyās tu tāḥ punaḥ //
ಆ ‘ಹಸು’ (ಭೂಮಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ದೋಹನ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳು ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿದವು. ಆ ಬೀಜಗಳು—ಬೆಳೆಸುವವು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಡಿನವು—ಎರಡೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಉಂಟಾದವು।
