तत्वारि तु सहस्राणि वर्षाणां मानुषाणि तु ।
आयुः प्रमाणं जीवन्ति न च क्लेशाद्विपत्तयः ॥
tatvāri tu sahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ mānuṣāṇi tu /
āyuḥ pramāṇaṃ jīvanti na ca kleśādvipattayaḥ
ಅವರ ಆಯುಷ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಾನವ ವರ್ಷಗಳು. ಅವರು ಆ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಅವಧಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಬದುಕಿದರು; ರೋಗಾದಿ ಕ್ಲೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನಿಷ್ಟವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
