Adhyaya 45 — Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation
गुणभावात् सृज्यमानात् सर्गकाले ततः पुनः ।
प्रधानं तत्त्वमुद्भूतं महान्तं तत् समावृणोत् ॥
guṇabhāvāt sṛjyamānāt sargakāle tataḥ punaḥ | pradhānaṃ tattvam udbhūtaṃ mahāntaṃ tat samāvṛṇot ||
ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗುಣಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ‘ಪ್ರಧಾನ’ವೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ತತ್ತ್ವ ಉದ್ಭವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಆ ಪ್ರಧಾನವೇ ‘ಮಹತ್’ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
