Adhyaya 37 — Alarka’s Crisis and the Teaching on Non-Attachment (Madālasa’s Instruction Recalled)
तं बुबोधयिषुः सोऽथ चिरं ध्यात्वा महीपतिः ।
तद्वैरिसंश्रयं तस्य श्रेयोऽमन्यत भूपतेः ॥
taṃ bubodhayīṣuḥ so 'tha ciraṃ dhyātvā mahīpatiḥ |
tad-vairi-saṃśrayaṃ tasya śreyo 'manyata bhūpateḥ ||
ಅವನನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿ ಅವನು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ, ಆ ರಾಜನು ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಕರವೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ವೈರಿ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು।
