Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
स्नायीत चेलवान् प्राज्ञः कटभूमिमुपेत्य च ।
देववेदद्विजातीनां साधुसत्यमहात्मनाम् ॥
snāyīta celavān prājñaḥ kaṭabhūmim upetya ca / devavedadvijātīnāṃ sādhusatyamahātmanām
ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸನು ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ, ಶುಚಿವಸ್ತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಿ, ಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳು, ವೇದ, ದ್ವಿಜರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸತ್ಯವಚನ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಸಾಧುಗಳ प्रति ಭಕ್ತಿ‑ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಬೇಕು।
