Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
न वाहयेद् द्विजान्नाग्नौ मेहं कुर्वोत् बुद्धिमान् ।
स्नायीत न नरो नग्नो न शयीत कदाचन ॥
na vāhayed dvijān nāgnau mehaṃ kurvot buddhimān | snāyīta na naro nagno na śayīta kadācana ||
ವಿವೇಕಿಯು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರನ್ನು ಭಾರ/ವಾಹನವಾಗಿ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು; ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂತ್ರವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು. ಪುರುಷನು ನಗ್ನವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು; ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಗ್ನವಾಗಿ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
