Adhyaya 26 — Madālasa Names Alarka and Reorients Him Toward Kshatriya Duty
चतुर्थस्य सुतस्याथ चिकीर्षुर्नाम भूमिपः ।
ददर्श तां शुभाचारामीषद्धासां मदालसाम् ।
तामाह राजा हसतीं किञ्चित् कौतूहलान्वितः ॥
caturthasya sutasyātha cikīrṣur nāma bhūmipaḥ / dadarśa tāṃ śubhācārām īṣaddhāsāṃ madālasām / tām āha rājā hasatīṃ kiñcit kautūhalānvitaḥ
ನಂತರ ರಾಜನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರು ಇಡಲು ಬಯಸಿ, ಸದಾಚಾರಿಣಿ ಮದಾಲಸೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನಗುನಗುತ್ತಾ ಕಂಡನು. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ, ಅವಳು ನಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ರಾಜನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು.
