Adhyaya 24 — Kuvalayashva’s Refusal of Gifts and the Vision of Madalasa’s Maya
ततः प्रहृष्टः प्रतिलभ्य कान्तां प्रणम्य नागं निजगाम सोऽथ ।
सुशोभमानः स्वपुरं तमश्वम् आरुह्य संचितितमभ्युपतेम् ॥
tataḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ pratilabhya kāntāṃ praṇamya nāgaṃ nijagāma so ’tha |
suśobhamānaḥ svapuraṃ tam aśvam āruhya saṃcintitam abhyupatem ||
ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಹರ್ಷಿತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪಡೆದು, ನಾಗನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದನು। ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆ ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನು ಏರಿ, ತಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸು ನೆಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟನು।
